The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wilkins looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've been hearing reports that Wilkins has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Jay ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jay swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wilkins.
It looks like Jamie Wilkins has been cut.
Jay closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Wilkins! Jay dives in looking to finish! Wilkins is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
