PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mario Yamasaki (ranked 1982 p4p, 3003 weight class) and Derrick Ryker (ranked 268 p4p, 360 weight class). Mario Yamasaki had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryker looks to clinch
letting Yamasaki counter with a right hand.
Yamasaki swats away the attempt to clinch by Ryker.
Ryker moves in looking to clinch but Yamasaki pushes him off.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yamasaki scores with a jab to the body.
Ryker tries to clinch there but Yamasaki circles away.
Yamasaki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ryker under the eye.
Ryker closes the distance looking to clinch

and Yamasaki counters with a nice right hand that sends Ryker toppling to the canvas! Ryker scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Yamasaki finish him?!

Ryker is rocked!

Yamasaki throws an overhand right that drops Ryker like a sack of potatoes! Yamasaki dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
