The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Steve throws a solid leg kick but Brown takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Steve.
Brown throws a jab but it's blocked by Steve.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brown throws a right hand that Steve ducks under and follows up with a left that Steve also avoids with ease.

Steve throws a series of strikes that have Brown backpedaling.

Steve lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

That was a close round but I would say that Leroy Brown will probably get the nod.

Steve's coach down at New York Public Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Steve's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Brown looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Steve lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
