The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motif changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Motif swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Motif displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alverz.
Alverz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Martin Alverz has been cut.
Motif misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Motif lands a big uppercut and Alverz crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Alverz looks OK. Motif waves Alverz back to his feet!
Alverz is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Motif is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Alverz flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Alverz is out cold! Motif holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
