Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 6359 p4p, 23853 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 64 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 71 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter B defends it nicely. And Fighter B responds with a good body kick, but Fighter A manages to step out the way in time. Fighter A throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Fighter B counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter A looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Fighter A stuffs the takedown. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter B feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fighter A wants to sweep here but Fighter B controlling him for the moment. Fighter B lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter B trying to control but Fighter A is working from the bottom. Fighter A controlling Fighter B's posture. Fighter A looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fighter A controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter A looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fighter B counters with a body kick. Fighter A stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fighter A wants it to stay on the feet. Fighter A fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter B shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter A manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter B's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Fighter A looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fighter B has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Fighter B looking for a sweep. Not yet Fighter B, not yet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter A drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B is trying to control the position but Fighter A postures up. Fighter B is pulling down on Fighter A's head to control his posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fighter B is on top in guard.
Fighter B missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fighter A seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter A has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Fighter A continues to stall.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter B fails to land the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fighter B looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fighter B wants to control but Fighter A postures up. Fighter A just content to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B is being controlled here. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Fighter A throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Fighter A moves out of range of the body kick. Fighter B fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A avoids it really well and circles away. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fighter B but Fighter B pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fighter B follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Fighter A closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fighter B to the mat! Fighter B manages to get full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter B looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fighter A is one step ahead there. Fighter A is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B looking to control.
Fighter A is fighting to break Fighter B's control of his arms but Fighter B is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Fighter A content to stall in guard here. Xxx Xxx overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fighter B is trying to control the position but Fighter A postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter B tries for a takedown but Fighter A circles away easily and Fighter A counters with a head kick. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter A.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
