The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Goble will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Let's hope that Kersikov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like Kersikov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Goble's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Goble seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Goble takes the fight on points by 10 to 8.
