The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malenko throws a one two combo.
Malenko wants to clinch.
Peredhil keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Malenko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Peredhil paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Peredhil avoids the head kick by Malenko.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malenko scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The crowd cheers as Malenko lands an impressive looking overhand right. Peredhil doesn't seem phased though.
Mark Malenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peredhil takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Malenko has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Peredhil to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Malenko is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Peredhil pulls down on the head and he's put Malenko to sleep! This one is all over!
