Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Digglesworth Rockbottom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockbottom comes to the cage accompanied by Earth Wind & Fire - Lets Groove. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Billy Mack enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Digglesworth Rockbottom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Mack!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack tries for a takedown but Rockbottom sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Rockbottom closes the distance and clinches.
Rockbottom lands a knee to the body.
Mack looks gassed!
The is referee keeping an eye on Rockbottom - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Rockbottom pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mack scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Rockbottom struggling a bit here.
Rockbottom tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mack content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
You can see the frustration on Rockbottom's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rockbottom tries to bench press Mack off him but Mack keeps the position.

Mack decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Rockbottom shoots in for a takedown but Mack shows good takedown defense.

Rockbottom clinches.
Mack blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Rockbottom misses with a knee strike.

Rockbottom's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rockbottom avoids the head kick by Mack.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mack throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mack with a lazy takedown attempt
and Rockbottom counters with a good, hard body kick but Mack shrugs it off.
Rockbottom lands a head kick. Mack smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Rockbottom.

Rockbottom closes the distance and clinches.
Mack blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Rockbottom unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mack lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Mack on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Rockbottom breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Rockbottom scores with a takedown into Mack's guard.
Rockbottom has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mack not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rockbottom pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mack is keeping the position for now.
Rockbottom prevents Mack from getting back to his feet.
Rockbottom slips nicely into half guard.

Rockbottom is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mack doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rockbottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rockbottom wants to take a breather but Mack is having none of it.

Rockbottom is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mack is just riding it out for now. Rockbottom eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rockbottom prevents Mack from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Digglesworth Rockbottom dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Rockbottom rushes Mack and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rockbottom comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Mack with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Knees in the clinch landing for Rockbottom.

Rockbottom breaks the clinch.
Mack fails with the takedown

and Rockbottom counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mack!

Rockbottom looking to secure an arm triangle but Mack defends it well.

Rockbottom throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Mack has his hands clasped together but Rockbottom breaks the hold and Mack is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Rockbottom!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Digglesworth Rockbottom!
