Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enea Vollare Mezzo. Alexander Emelianenko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Killer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer tries to keep at a distance but Emelianenko has taken the fight into the clinch. Emelianenko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Emelianenko breaks the clinch.
A combination from Killer does no damage. Killer clinches but Emelianenko breaks the clinch and Emelianenko counters by clinching up. Killer has had enough of the clinch but Emelianenko keeps him there for the moment. Killer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Emelianenko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Killer takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Fedor Killer has been cut. Emelianenko breaks from the clinch.
Emelianenko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Killer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Killer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Killer is looking to reverse the position. Killer wants to control but Emelianenko postures up. Emelianenko grinds an elbow into Killer's temple. Killer is looking for a sweep. Emelianenko wants to stand but Killer has his arm trapped.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Killer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Emelianenko tries to avoid it but Killer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Emelianenko to the ground. Emelianenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Killer's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Killer duly obliges.
It looks like Alexander Emelianenko has been cut. Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Killer as he avoids it easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Killer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Emelianenko takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Killer lands a left and a right that sends Emelianenko crashing to the canvas! Killer dives into mount looking to finish! Killer looking to control but Emelianenko is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Killer landing strikes from the mount. Killer tries to control but Emelianenko wriggling away. Emelianenko is looking to improve his position but Killer isn't that keen on the idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killer dominating with strikes here. Emelianenko tries to get back to half guard but can't. Killer looking to control but Emelianenko is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Emelianenko wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Emelianenko is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Killer trying to control but Emelianenko is having none of it. Emelianenko throwing hammer fists to the chest of Killer. What's that going to do exactly? Killer controlling the position easily from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Killer wants to clinch and Emelianenko counters by clinching up. Emelianenko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Killer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Killer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Killer wants to clinch. Alexander Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Killer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Emelianenko circles away. Killer shoots in for a double leg but Emelianenko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Killer shoots in for a takedown but Emelianenko shows good takedown defense. Emelianenko clinches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Emelianenko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Killer blocks a head kick by Emelianenko.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Killer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Killer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Killer is looking to clinch. Emelianenko moves into the clinch. Emelianenko blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Killer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Emelianenko counters with a lovely straight right hand! Killer tries to clinch up. Emelianenko scores with a nice strike. Emelianenko lands a head kick. Killer smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Killer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Emelianenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Killer lands with a nice body punch. Killer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Emelianenko counters with a big head kick but Killer shrugs it off. Killer's corner calls for a 1-2. Killer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Emelianenko has Killer up against the cage in a clinch.

Emelianenko has clasped his hands together around Killer's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Emelianenko decides to stand back up. Emelianenko steps back and let's Killer get back to his feet. Emelianenko instigates a clinch. Emelianenko gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Emelianenko wants to stand but Killer has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Killer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Killer has momentary wrist control but Emelianenko slips an elbow through the middle. Killer throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Emelianenko wants to stand but Killer is controlling his posture from full guard. Killer is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

"Ole!" shouts Killer as he jumps to the side. Emelianenko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Killer misses with a series of wild punches.
Emelianenko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Killer counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Emelianenko tries to clinch but Killer moves out of range. Emelianenko tries to clinch up but Killer circles away and keeps his distance. Killer tries to shoot in for a takedown. That's two minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko has control of Killer's left arm, preventing Killer from doing any damage. Emelianenko keeping moving, preventing Killer from controlling successfully. Emelianenko manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Killer is bucking up trying to escape but Emelianenko cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Emelianenko controlling from the full mount. Emelianenko throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killer is squirming around, avoiding Emelianenko's attempts to control the action. Killer slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Killer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Emelianenko is working away from the top position though. Emelianenko decides to stand up. Emelianenko forces Killer back against the cage and clinches. Emelianenko manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killer has had enough of the clinch but Emelianenko keeps him there for the moment. Emelianenko pulls guard effortlessly. Killer trying to control the position from guard on top but Emelianenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Killer scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Emelianenko is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Killer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Killer stopping the sweep attempt from Emelianenko. Killer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Killer being controlled here momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight! Alexander Emelianenko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Emelianenko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
