Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Swain (ranked 3503 p4p, 6344 weight class) and Bru Swain (ranked 489 p4p, 639 weight class). Bru Swain told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robert Swain looks to land a combination but Bru Swain avoids it well.
Bru Swain swings away with a leg kick that misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Robert Swain misses the target.
Bru Swain lands a jab.

Bru Swain throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Robert Swain counters with a series of strikes. Bru Swain will be more careful next time no doubt.
Bru Swain scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Robert Swain doesn't seem bothered though.

Bru Swain's coach down at Cobra Kai Workout Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bru Swain's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bru Swain works over Robert Swain's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Robert Swain has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bru Swain. That's going to slow Robert Swain down.
Bru Swain feints and then cracks Robert Swain's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Robert Swain down.
Robert Swain chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bru Swain can pounce on him.

The fighters circle momentarily. Bru Swain darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Oh Robert Swain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bru Swain buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Robert Swain seems to have got his legs back now.
Bru Swain lands a leg kick that knocks Robert Swain off balance momentarily.
Bru Swain cracks Robert Swain with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bru Swain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bru Swain.
Robert Swain is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
A punch lands to the side of Robert Swain 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bru Swain wobbles Robert Swain with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Bru Swain dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Robert Swain to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
