The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by White or perhaps it was just good defense by Griffin, which made it look bad.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from White is defended easily by Griffin.
White looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Griffin is looking for a sweep. White is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
White is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Griffin sees it coming and defends easily.
White stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Griffin wants to get back to his feet.
White is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Griffin is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
