Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toyotomi Hideyoshi (ranked 3679 p4p, 3438 weight class) and Gatis Ginters (ranked 418 p4p, 395 weight class). Toyotomi Hideyoshi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gatis Ginters's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Toyotomi Hideyoshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gatis Ginters! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hideyoshi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hideyoshi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ginters but Ginters pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ginters tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Ginters is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ginters rushes Hideyoshi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ginters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ginters closes the distance and clinches up with Hideyoshi, looking for a takedown. Ginters pushes Hideyoshi against the cage but Hideyoshi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ginters keeping moving, preventing Hideyoshi from controlling successfully. Ginters bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Ginters is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hideyoshi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ginters sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Ginters moves into full guard.
