PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gavril Lukov (ranked 4416 p4p, 4115 weight class) and Saul Taylot (ranked 461 p4p, 449 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lukov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Take_it_Back_v2. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Saul Taylot!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylot is looking to score with low kicks.
Lukov missing with a left hand there. Taylot was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lukov shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Lukov misses with a straight left.
Nice body kick there by Lukov.
Lukov avoids the body shot from Taylot.
Lukov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lukov is breathing heavily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Taylot.
Taylot throws a series of punches but Lukov avoids them all with ease.
Taylot connects with an inside leg kick.
Taylot lands a glancing blow to the side of Lukov's head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Taylot comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lukov gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Taylot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Taylot avoids the body shot from Lukov.
Sloppy strikes from Taylot. Those never looked like landing.
Taylot lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lukov's sensitive parts.
Lukov moves out of range as Taylot throws a body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lukov tries to land a front kick but Taylot steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lukov tries a head kick but it misses.
Lukov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Lukov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Taylot connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lukov momentarily.

Lukov is rocked!
Taylot chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Oh Lukov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That kick from Taylot tenderised Lukov's leg. Lukov is trying to keep his angry face on.
A head kick by Lukov misses
and Taylot counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
