Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niilo Huhtala (ranked 25289 p4p, 25180 weight class) and Ernie Stone (ranked 554 p4p, 564 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Niilo Huhtala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ernie Stone!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Huhtala manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice sprawl there from Stone as Huhtala shoots in.
Huhtala misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stone tries to clinch there but Huhtala circles away.
Huhtala tries to counter with a takedown but Stone is quick to defend against it.
Stone has closed the distance and engaged Huhtala in a clinch.
Huhtala is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stone pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Stone struggles to land a body shot inside as Huhtala controls his hands.
Huhtala is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stone gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Stone manages to break the clinch.
Huhtala shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stone but Stone pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Stone has eaten all the pies!

Huhtala wants the takedown. Stone is fighting it off but Huhtala persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Stone's guard against the cage.
Huhtala will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Huhtala tries to free his leg and advance position but Stone is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huhtala wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.
Huhtala drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Huhtala jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Huhtala passes Stone's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Huhtala is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Huhtala seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Huhtala looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Huhtala wants to pass to mount but Stone is defending the position.
