The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leighton moves in looking to clinch but Makhmudova pushes him off.
Makhmudova looks to land a combination but Leighton avoids it well.
Leighton takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Leighton misses with the combination.
Makhmudova throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Leighton looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Makhmudova is defending well. Leighton quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Makhmudova has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
