The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lupsaka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mikhailov avoids it really well and circles away.
Mikhailov drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lupsaka defends it well.
Herio Lupsaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mikhailov thows a body kick. Lupsaka tries to catch it but that hurt him.
We've been hearing reports that Lupsaka has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
