The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pfanne shoots in and gets a takedown into Leg's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pfanne distracts Leg with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Pfanne working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Leg looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Leg pulls Pfanne in close to prevent any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Leg throws an elbow that misses. Pfanne uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Leg's guard. Nice move by Pfanne!

Pfanne sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Leg's guard.

Pfanne dives in for a single leg takedown but Leg sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Leg slaps away a takedown attempt from Pfanne, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Leg throws a big counter combination but Pfanne scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Pfanne shoots in and bounces Leg off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Leg utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Leg wants to sweep here but Pfanne controlling him for the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pfanne accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pfanne stands up over Leg, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Pfanne postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Brad Pfanne dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Pfanne throws out a counter right but Leg avoids it with no problem.
Brad Pfanne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Pfanne or perhaps it was just good defense by Leg, which made it look bad.
Pfanne has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Pfanne defending well as Leg loads up on a big left hand.
Leg gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pfanne.
Pfanne bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Leg's head.

It looks like Screaming Leg has been cut.
Pfanne dives in and grabs Leg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Leg pushes down on Pfanne's head and hops out.
Good leg kick by Leg.
Pfanne fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Leg to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Leg looks to clinch but Pfanne throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Leg taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Brad Pfanne thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
