Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Poppa Ping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Puncho Pound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Poppa Ping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Puncho Pound!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pound shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ping as he jumps to the side.
Ping misses with a series of wild punches.
Ping throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ping turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ping swinging wilding here.
Ping misses with a double jab.
Ping smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Puncho Pound has been cut.
Pound fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ping swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ping with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ping drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ping trying to control the action but Pound is working from the bottom.
Pound is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ping not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pound strikes from the bottom but Ping uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Ping throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Pound looking for a sweep but Ping has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Pound tries to reverse the position but Ping maintains control.
Ping can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pound is looking to escape.
Ping thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Ping thowing shots but they're missing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pound is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ping scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Ping in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The cut above Puncho Pound's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Puncho Pound's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Poppa Ping!
