Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denis Hadzo (ranked 6204 p4p, 25274 weight class) and Masahito Tamura (ranked 531 p4p, 542 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Denis Hadzo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masahito Tamura! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hadzo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Hadzo throws the left hand but Tamura avoids the punch easily. Hadzo misses with a two punch combination.
Tamura closes the distance and clinches. Hadzo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tamura prevents it.
Hadzo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tamura avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Tamura drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tamura has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hadzo is trying to keep an underhook but Tamura manages to get the takedown into half guard. Hadzo is trying to get back to full guard. Tamura wants to take a breather but Hadzo is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tamura is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tamura prevents Hadzo from improving his position. Tamura is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hadzo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tamura. Tamura is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hadzo is not content to let Tamura control the position. Tamura prevents Hadzo from improving his position. Hadzo is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Special Ops N7 Training that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tamura is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hadzo tries to roll over but Tamura keeps him under control. Hadzo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tamura is working away from the top position though. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Tamura seems to be looking for submissions.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tamura shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hadzo sprawls well. Hadzo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tamura gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tamura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hadzo but Hadzo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Denis Hadzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Masahito Tamura. Tamura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hadzo but Hadzo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hadzo throws a jab when Tamura was well out of range. Nice takedown defense from Hadzo. No joy for Tamura on that attempt. Hadzo leaves Tamura with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A big left from Hadzo misses. Hadzo closes the distance and pushes Tamura back into the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Denis Hadzo dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Hadzo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tamura on his heels. He'll look to pass Tamura's guard now, I'm sure. Tamura keeping moving, preventing Hadzo from controlling successfully. Hadzo is looking to stand up but Tamura won't let him. Tamura looking for a triangle here. Hadzo is fighting it but it looks tight! Tamura pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Hadzo is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Masahito Tamura! Denis Hadzo was interviewed post fight and said 'It is what it is...on to the next one'.
