Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Haisam Moghadam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 25 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rikkard Hanson!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson misses with a takedown attempt
and Moghadam counters with an inside leg kick.
Hanson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Moghadam cracks Hanson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Moghadam has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hanson to stand back up!
Hanson is rocked!
It looks like Rikkard Hanson has been cut.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Moghadam engages and cracks Hanson with a massive lead left hook - Hanson tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Moghadam is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Haisam Moghadam!
