The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Nielsen.
Truelsen dives in for a single leg takedown but Nielsen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nielsen has closed the distance and engaged Truelsen in a clinch.
Nielsen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Truelsen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Truelsen manages to end up in side control.
Truelsen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Nielsen wants to control but Truelsen postures up.
Nielsen is pushing Truelsen's head away, looking to escape. Truelsen manages to hold on to the position though.

Truelsen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nielsen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nielsen tries to escape but Truelsen is in control.

Nielsen is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Nielsen is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Truelsen couldn't care less - he's delighted!
