Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Davis Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, India India!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
India wants to clinch.
Davis Jr is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from India.

Davis Jr gets a clinch.
India jumps guard but Davis Jr turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
India has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Davis Jr has India pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Davis Jr pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending India tumbling to the mat - Davis Jr dives into India's guard.
Davis Jr wants to stand but India is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Davis Jr gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
India shoots in but Davis Jr avoids the takedown attempt easily.
India throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Davis Jr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
India takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
India being controlled for a moment.

Davis Jr is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. India is trying to escape and Davis Jr transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and India is forced to tap! Nice work there by Davis Jr! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Samuel Davis Jr!
A less than humble Samuel Davis Jr misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
