Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lysander Pollio (ranked 4079 p4p, 25539 weight class) and Diego Not Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pollio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I'd Love To Knock The Hell Out Of You. Diego Not Carlos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Diego Not Carlos!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollio lands with a shot to the body.
Left hook, right uppercut from Not Carlos.
It looks like Lysander Pollio has been cut.
Not Carlos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pollio, pushing him back against the cage.
Not Carlos breaks from the clinch.
Pollio swings away with a body shot that misses
and Not Carlos counters with a series of strikes. Pollio will be more careful next time no doubt.
Not Carlos doesn't manage to clinch there - Pollio circles away.
Not Carlos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pollio circles away.
Pollio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Not Carlos manages to avoid it.
Not Carlos thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Pollio if he has to take too many more of those.
Not Carlos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pollio won't allow Not Carlos to pass to mount.

Not Carlos is trying to work for a kimura but Pollio is defending well.
Not Carlos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are battling for position here. Pollio manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Pollio on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pollio tries to get out of the position.
Pollio throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Pollio looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Pollio thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Pollio might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pollio lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pollio is on top in guard.
Pollio lands a couple of digs.
Pollio keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Not Carlos's head.
Pollio stands up over Not Carlos, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Not Carlos looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Pollio puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Not Carlos is staying active underneath Pollio, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Pollio slips a nice elbow through Not Carlos's hands, connecting with Not Carlos's forehead.
