Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oige Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Coleman looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman walks into a stiff left hand from Cox.
Coleman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Cox throws a sloppy head kick and Coleman moves out of range easily.
Coleman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cox tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Coleman.
Cox is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Coleman's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Cox trying to hold on to Coleman's head to control him but Coleman postures up.
Cox pushes Coleman off looking to stand but Coleman dives back in and keeps control.

Cox wants to sweep but no luck.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cox is on top in guard.
Coleman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cox is controlling him.

Cox drives through and clinches with Coleman against the cage.

Cox ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cox no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Cox tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cox bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Coleman's guard.

Cox decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Cox goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Coleman wants to clinch up but Cox keeps it at a distance.

Coleman shoots in and bounces Cox off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cox controls Coleman momentarily but Coleman frees himself.
Coleman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Cox is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are battling for position here. Cox manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Cox manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Coleman manages to get himself to full guard.

Oige Cox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cox gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Cox postures up in Coleman's guard and throws a big left but Coleman blocks it.
Cox loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Cox gets to his feet. Coleman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Cox closes the distance but Coleman moves to the side

and Coleman counters by moving into the clinch.

Cox has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Coleman uses from the top position.
Oige Cox overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Cox is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Cox is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Coleman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The referee warns Coleman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Cox lands a big shot there that rocks Coleman but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cox, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
