Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Flash Spooner (ranked 4305 p4p, 3810 weight class) and Tony Scarface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flash Spooner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Scarface! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spooner clinches up against the cage. Scarface pressing his opponent against the cage. Spooner misses with a knee to the head. Scarface's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Scarface blocks a head kick by Spooner.
Scarface throws a right and a left that both miss. Scarface clobbers Spooner with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Scarface lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scarface lands a nice shot that snaps Spooner's head back.
Spooner is rocked! Spooner tries to clinch up but Scarface circles away and keeps his distance. Scarface moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Scarface lands a nice looking body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scarface looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Scarface drops Spooner with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Spooner looks back up at him and smiles so Scarface waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Spooner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Flash Spooner has been cut. Scarface looks to land a combination but Spooner avoids it well. Spooner is looking to counter with head kicks. Spooner seems to have got his legs back now. Spooner tries to clinch there but Scarface circles away.
Scarface looks like he wants to counter punch here. A chopping leg kick lands by Scarface. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Scarface connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Scarface digs a good hook to Spooner's body.
Scarface shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Spooner takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Scarface sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Spooner bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tony Scarface! Tony Scarface was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
