The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copeland loads up on a big right hand but Hoang slips the punch.
Hoang tries a quick counter leg kick but Copeland is wise to it.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hoang enables Copeland to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hoang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Copeland trying to control the position from guard on top but Hoang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Copeland is sitting in close to Hoang's body. Hoang has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Copeland is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Copeland is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hoang.
