The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Cunha throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Light Heavyweight seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Light Heavyweight avoids the head kick by Da Cunha.
Light Heavyweight tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Da Cunha manages to circle out of the way.
Light Heavyweight moves out of range of the strikes.
As Da Cunha tries to get set, Light Heavyweight tries to push him back and clinch up but Da Cunha manages to avoid the attempt.

Da Cunha has taken the fight to the clinch.
Da Cunha is trying to maintain a safe position but Light Heavyweight gets an underhook and turns Da Cunha into the cage.

Light Heavyweight is sitting in close to Da Cunha's body. Da Cunha has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Light Heavyweight is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Light Heavyweight is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Da Cunha.
