Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alee Ideaale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jean Bulteau!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ideaale dives in and grabs Bulteau's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bulteau pushes down on Ideaale's head and hops out.
Bulteau misses with a left hand
and Ideaale counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ideaale.
Ideaale passes into half guard.
Bulteau is looking to escape.
Ideaale definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ideaale will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ideaale is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bulteau is just riding it out for now. Ideaale eventually gives up the hold.
Ideaale is keen to just control but Bulteau is a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ideaale frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bulteau bucks Ideaale off and manages to get back to his feet!

Ideaale closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bulteau quickly recovers to half guard.
Bulteau manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Ideaale shoots in for a takedown but Bulteau shows good takedown defense.
Bulteau displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ideaale.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alee Ideaale. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ideaale shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bulteau counters with a straight right hand.
Bulteau looks to throw the jab but Ideaale is out of range.
Jean Bulteau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bulteau throws a looping overhand right but Ideaale ducks down to avoid it.
Bulteau swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bulteau throws a right and a left that Ideaale avoids nicely.
Ideaale is looking for a counter combo.
Ideaale tries to clinch up.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bulteau!
Ideaale looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ideaale shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bulteau is trying to defend but Ideaale finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ideaale trying to control the action but Bulteau is working from the bottom.
Ideaale landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Ideaale lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ideaale is looking to take a break and control but Bulteau is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ideaale content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Bulteau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ideaale. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bulteau is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ideaale scores with a couple of nice shots.
Ideaale is nestled in close to Bulteau, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ideaale looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bulteau with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ideaale passes to full mount!

Oooh a big shot lands for Ideaale! Bulteau is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
