Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kari Parisyen!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parisyen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
A countering left hand to the body from Parisyen misses.
Parisyen punishes Johnson's body with a nice straight punch.
Johnson fails to land the takedown.
Parisyen cracks a nice hook into Johnson's ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Parisyen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Johnson.
Johnson wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Parisyen drops Johnson with a beautiful combination! Johnson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Parisyen is looking for the KO!
Johnson is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Parisyen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson is breathing heavily.
OH! Johnson has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Parisyen smells blood and charges in for the finish! Parisyen unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Johnson sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kari Parisyen!
