Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamal Lashley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Young! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Lashley with that takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Young is defended easily by Lashley. Young keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Young gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lashley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Young tries for a takedown but Lashley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jamal Lashley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Young. Lashley stalks Young and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Young's face. Young staggers backwards, shaken.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Excellent takedown into side control there by Young. Lashley is looking to regain half guard here but Young keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Young shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lashley counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lashley is keen to just control but Young is a slippery customer. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lashley lands a nice short elbow. Lashley misses with a head shot. Young uses the momentum to regain guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Young misses with a hook from the clinch. Lashley avoiding damage as Young throws knees to the body.

And that's the end of the fight! Jamal Lashley showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lashley, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
