Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bysshe Don (ranked 3616 p4p, 4836 weight class) and Joe Diddy (ranked 446 p4p, 523 weight class). Don comes to the cage accompanied by Where the Streets Have No Name - U2. Joe Diddy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Diddy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diddy with a poor takedown
and Don counters with a nice body shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Don.
Don tries to land a front kick but Diddy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Diddy avoids a kick to the body.
Diddy now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Don misses with a body kick.
Diddy checks a low kick from Don.

No luck for Diddy with that takedown attempt.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Diddy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Don haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Diddy is keen to just control but Don is a slippery customer.
Diddy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Diddy crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Don - the referee stops the clock and Diddy gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Don. Diddy manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
