Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Givaldo Torres (ranked 3659 p4p, 3006 weight class) and Author Fonzarelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fonzarelli shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fonzarelli looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Torres!
Torres definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Torres could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Torres is looking to reverse the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Torres might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
It looks like Fonzarelli might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Fonzarelli's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
