Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Don Juan (ranked 6434 p4p, 3840 weight class) and Kang Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Don Juan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Don Juan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Don Juan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kang Richards!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Juan finds it's way round the side to connect with Richards's head.
Juan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Don Juan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Richards ducks under a wild hook from Juan.
Juan takes a swing at Richards's ribcage but misses.
Juan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Juan lands a nice shot to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Richards has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A slow jab from Juan misses its intended target.
Richards drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Juan defends it well.

Richards content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Juan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Juan tries to get out of the position.

Richards is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Juan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Let's hope that Richards has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Richards changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Juan lands a really nice looking cross but Richards seems unphased.

Juan looks to land a body kick but Richards moved away.

Richards uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Juan.

And Richards tries to counter it with a takedown but Juan pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Juan lands a left and a right that send Richards crashing to the mat, dazed. Juan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Juan lands a big right hand that sends Richards crashing to the mat! Juan stays standing though and waves Richards back to his feet!
Richards gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Juan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
