Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dougie Acton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biff Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Biff Webster! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Acton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Webster can pounce on him.
Acton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Webster manages to avoid it. Webster shoots in but Acton avoids the takedown attempt easily. Acton throws a front kick that sends Webster stumbling back into the cage. Webster looks gassed! Acton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Acton unloads a knee to the mid-section. Webster lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Acton lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Biff Webster has been cut. Acton creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Webster's defenses. Acton lands a left hand that snaps the head of Webster backwards. Acton lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Acton gets through Webster's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Acton blocks a knee to the body. Acton's corner calls for a 1-2. Acton obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Webster takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dougie Acton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Webster misses with a takedown attempt - Acton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Acton closes the distance and lands a one-two. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Webster clinches up with Acton and pushes him back against the cage. Acton missing with knees to the body.

Webster shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Both fighters are breathing heavily. Webster misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Webster might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Acton kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Acton wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Acton avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Webster. Acton is trying to stand back up but Webster is controlling him
Webster uses his free foot to push down on Acton's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Acton. Biff Webster has got the better of the ground game so far. Webster trying to control but Acton is having none of it. Webster scoring with strikes but Acton is staying in there. Webster can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Acton is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Acton squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Webster has hold of Acton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Acton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Webster sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Webster lands a big elbow. Acton wants to get back to his feet.
Webster scoring with strikes but Acton is staying in there. Webster unloading with bombs! Acton is trying to stand up. Biff Webster has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dougie Acton is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dougie Acton. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Acton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
