Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pax Augustus (ranked 4301 p4p, 4363 weight class) and Patrick Adderley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augustus tries to clinch there but Adderley circles away.
Augustus shoots in and drives through. Adderley sprawls well.
Augustus blocks a head kick by Adderley.
Adderley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Augustus's half guard.
Adderley missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Adderley wants to control but Augustus is keeping him busy.
Adderley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Adderley is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Augustus has managed to free his arm - good work.

Adderley wants to take a breather but Augustus is having none of it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Augustus swats away the attempt to clinch by Adderley.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Augustus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Augustus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Adderley is looking for the big counter here.
Adderley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Adderley scores with a takedown into Augustus's guard.
Adderley wants to control from the top but Augustus keeps moving.
Augustus has Adderley pulled in close to control his posture.
Augustus controls Adderley momentarily but Adderley frees himself.

Augustus wants to sweep but no luck.
Adderley trying to control the position from guard on top but Augustus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Augustus wants to sweep here but Adderley controlling him for the moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Augustus stuns Adderley with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Adderley shoots for a double leg takedown but Augustus sprawls well. He's pushed Adderley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It looked like Augustus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Augustus looks to score with a jab to the body but Adderley is just out of range.
Augustus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Augustus keeps the fight on the outside.
A looping hook to the body misses from Augustus. Adderley does a little dance to reset his feet.
Adderley throws a right and a left that both miss.
Augustus lands a jab to Adderley's midsection.
Adderley looks winded!
Augustus lands with a nice body punch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Adderley is defended easily by Augustus.
Augustus swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Pax Augustus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Adderley.
Adderley takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Adderley with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Augustus to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Patrick Adderley has been cut.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Pax Augustus will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Augustus jabs at Adderley's body.
Adderley walks into a stiff left hand from Augustus.
Augustus takes the fight into the clinch.
Adderley has a couple of punches blocked by Augustus.
Augustus stalling.
Augustus tries to break free but Adderley pushes him back against the cage.
Adderley jumps guard but Augustus stands there with Adderley around his waist. Adderley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Augustus throws a body shot but no joy.
Augustus connects with a good right hand that stumbles Adderley. Adderley circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Adderley is rocked!

Adderley misses with a straight right.
Adderley is still on wobbly legs! Can Augustus finish him?
Augustus connects with a body shot that sends Adderley's belly button to the back.
Adderley seems to have recovered his senses.
Adderley is breathing heavily.
Augustus lands an uppercut, right on the button! Adderley tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pax Augustus!
Pax Augustus decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
