Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Clovey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fight for this love. Nathan Clovey will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clovey tries to clinch there but Lopez circles away.
No luck for Clovey with that takedown attempt.
Clovey throws a sloppy head kick and Lopez moves out of range easily.
Lopez looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Lopez slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Clovey.
Clovey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Clovey wants to get back to his feet.
Lopez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lopez moves into full mount! Clovey won't be happy about that!
Lopez looking to finish Clovey with some ground and pound. This is bad for Clovey!
Lopez lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Clovey hang on?

Lopez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lopez has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Clovey's face.
Lopez is landing with some decent strikes but Clovey is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Lopez postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Clovey in real trouble here! The ref calls for Clovey to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
