Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moritz Zimmerman (ranked 771 p4p, 919 weight class) and Paul Hunt (ranked 127 p4p, 150 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt takes a swing at Zimmerman's ribcage but misses.

Zimmerman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hunt's waist but Hunt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zimmerman off to one side.
Zimmerman tries to move into range but Hunt moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A bone on bone clash there as Zimmerman blocks the leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Zimmerman checks a leg kick.
Zimmerman closes the distance and clinches up with Hunt, looking for a takedown. Zimmerman pushes Hunt against the cage but Hunt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zimmerman darts in looking for a takedown but Hunt gets double underhooks and turns Zimmerman into the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zimmerman has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hunt after a bit of a struggle.

Hunt throws a hook but Zimmerman blocks it.

Zimmerman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hunt is fending him off so far but Zimmerman persists. Nope, Hunt circles away and we're back to standing.

and Zimmerman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zimmerman.
Zimmerman tries to free his leg and advance position but Hunt is retaining full guard.
Zimmerman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Zimmerman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hunt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hunt has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Zimmerman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hunt is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hunt has escaped and now he's on top!

Zimmerman looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hunt has picked Zimmerman up and slammed him! Zimmerman can't keep hold of the triangle and Hunt manages to pass to side control!

Hunt cracks Zimmerman with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Zimmerman looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hunt finish him?

Hunt dips a shoulder and cracks Zimmerman with a mighty uppercut! Zimmerman falls back against the cage and Hunt unloads with a barrage of strikes! Zimmerman is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hunt screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
