The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lorimer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Garbrandt doesn't manage to clinch there - Lorimer circles away.
Garbrandt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Garbrandt takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lorimer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nice shot lands for Lorimer.
Lorimer cracks Garbrandt with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Garbrandt walks into a stiff left hand from Lorimer.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lorimer slips a jab and a cross from Garbrandt .
Peter Lorimer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Garbrandt is defended easily by Lorimer.
Garbrandt shoots in but Lorimer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Garbrandt goes for a double leg but Lorimer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lorimer continues to drive forward.
Peter Lorimer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cody Garbrandt .
Garbrandt looks winded!

Lorimer lands a slapping body shot.
Lorimer connects with a body shot.
Lorimer getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Lorimer is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Lorimer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Garbrandt is still on wobbly legs! Can Lorimer finish him?

Lorimer steps into range and cracks Garbrandt with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Garbrandt flops backwards and Lorimer dives into his guard looking to finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lorimer lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Garbrandt falls backwards - clearly groggy! Lorimer dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
