Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derek King (ranked 4428 p4p, 4459 weight class) and James Green (ranked 0 p4p, 469 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Derek King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Green! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Green. King throws a head kick that misses. The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Green is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Green swats away the attempt to clinch by King. Green tries to counter by closing the distance. Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around King's waist but King gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side. Green thuds his shin into the meat of King's side. King tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Green paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Green shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has King pinned against the cage. King gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Derek King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Green. Green closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green has King pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. King manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Green prevents a body shot from King. Green's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. King is trying hard to land a takedown here. Green sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. King shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Green but Green pushes him off and we're back to square one. Green lands with a kick to the temple. King shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" King fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Green is out of range. Green looks for a takedown but King sprawls well. King went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Green leaves King with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Green throws a counter combo. Green tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but King defends well and Green ends up having to push King into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. King tries to keep at a distance but Green has taken the fight into the clinch. King is leaning against Green and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Come on Green - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Green escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Green stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Green wants it to stay on the feet. King shoots in for a double leg but Green sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green fails with the takedown and King counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Green shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says King as he avoids it easily. King is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Green forces King back against the cage and clinches. Green pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. King throws a leg kick but Green checks it. King shoots for a takedown but Green saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Green avoids it really well and circles away. Green is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. King is looking to take this fight into the clinch. King misses with an uppercut. Green throws a counter combo. King shoots in and drives through. Green sprawls well. Green scores with a nice body kick.
King is breathing heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. King rushes Green and presses him up against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Green. Green stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

King clinches up with Green and pushes him back against the cage. Green is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables King to keep the fight standing. Green stalls. King is trying to maintain a safe position but Green gets an underhook and turns King into the cage. Green decides to pull guard. Green pulls King in close to prevent any damage. Green doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
King throws an elbow that misses. Green uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in King's guard. Nice move by Green!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green sitting in guard, not really doing much. King wants to stand and escape but Green is having none of it. King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Green can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. King not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now King is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King trying to control but Green is working from the bottom. King throws a big elbow that misses. Green pulls King in to control the position. Green lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Green trying to control but King is working from the bottom. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. King trying to keep a closed guard but Green is proving a slippery customer.
Green is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control. King not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. King tries to keep at a distance but Green has taken the fight into the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! King fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! King loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Derek King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! James Green is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. King working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! James Green comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Green has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
