Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jackson Aarona!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boxing Trainer!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trainer's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Trainer duly obliges.
Trainer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Aarona momentarily.
Trainer catches Aarona with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Trainer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Aarona under the eye.
Aarona tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Trainer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Trainer swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Aarona.
Trainer connects with a right hand. Aarona shakes it off.
Trainer thuds a left hand into Aarona's body.
Aarona drives through and clinches with Trainer against the cage.
Trainer swings wildly with an uppercut but Aarona uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Trainer stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Aarona blocks a body shot from Trainer.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Trainer has a couple of punches blocked by Aarona.
Trainer misses with a hook from the clinch.
Aarona wants the takedown. Trainer is fighting it off but Aarona persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Trainer's guard against the cage.
Trainer can't keep his opponent in guard - Aarona advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Aarona thows a huge punch but Trainer dodges it nicely.
Aarona is taking a breather. Trainer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

It looks like Aarona is going to stand back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Aarona in particular looking to stall.
Aarona is working for a kimura but Trainer is defending it quite comfortably.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Aarona scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Aarona is pressing down on Trainer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Trainer is holding on for now.
Aarona is controlling the pace.

Trainer is trying to control but Aarona manages to pass to mount!
Aarona lands a heavy elbow.
It looks like Boxing Trainer has been cut.
Aarona tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Aarona looking to secure an arm triangle but Trainer defends it well.
Trainer is trying desperately to improve position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trainer can do anything to dispel that myth.

Aarona takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Aarona has control of Trainer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Trainer regains control of the situation pretty easily.
A nice elbow there by Aarona.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jackson Aarona dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Boxing Trainer's cut.
That's time! Aarona's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A nice combination there by Trainer.
Trainer cracks Aarona with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Aarona shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trainer as he jumps to the side.
Trainer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Aarona on the side of the head.
Trainer connects with the punch.
Aarona shoots in and drives through. Trainer sprawls well.
Aarona moves in looking to clinch but Trainer pushes him off.
Trainer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A shot to the liver by Trainer. Beautiful body shot.
Aarona closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Trainer's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aarona slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Aarona tries to stand but Trainer is controlling his head.
Trainer is not content to let Aarona control the position.
Aarona working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Trainer is looking to reverse the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aarona is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Trainer tries to improve position but can't.
Aarona advances to full mount.
Aarona is looking to work his way around to Trainer's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Aarona lands a nice shot to the head.
Aarona throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Trainer because Aarona loaded up on that one.

Aarona connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Aarona has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Aarona is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Trainer can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Aarona lands a couple of good shots and Trainer has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Aarona working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Trainer is doing well to defend. Aarona seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Trainer is forced to tap and this one is over!
