Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Nurmagochev (ranked 4361 p4p, 4720 weight class) and Ron The Anchorman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yuri Nurmagochev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ron The Anchorman!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Anchorman with a nice calf kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nurmagochev lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and The Anchorman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from The Anchorman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The Anchorman throws a fast counter high kick but Nurmagochev manages to duck under it in time.
The Anchorman drops Nurmagochev with a beautiful combination! Nurmagochev stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - The Anchorman is looking for the KO!
It looks like Yuri Nurmagochev has been cut.
The Anchorman fakes the leg kick and cracks Nurmagochev in the body.
Nurmagochev moves out of range of the body kick.
The Anchorman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
As The Anchorman looks to move away, Nurmagochev throws a big counter combo but The Anchorman just gets out of the way.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The Anchorman falls off balance throwing a combination
and Nurmagochev decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in The Anchorman's guard.

The Anchorman wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Nurmagochev slows the pace down.
Nurmagochev seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down The Anchorman for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nurmagochev thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Nurmagochev passes to full mount! That's big trouble for The Anchorman!

Nurmagochev has hold of The Anchorman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and The Anchorman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nurmagochev is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, The Anchorman has managed to escape the submission attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Anchorman tries to buck Nurmagochev off but he can't manage it.
Nurmagochev looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The Anchorman wants to try and get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nurmagochev working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. The Anchorman is doing well to defend. Nurmagochev seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! The Anchorman is forced to tap and this one is over!
