The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Aaron Goodson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goodson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Strong throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Strong has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Goodson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Strong throws out the jab.

Strong feints a counter leg kick.
Goodson throws a body punch but Strong moves out of range.
Strong is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Goodson with a body shot.
Strong scores with a head kick. Goodson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Goodson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Temple of Fitness in the buildup to the fight.

Strong pivots, looking for a leg kick but Goodson is out of range and Strong settles back down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Goodson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Strongs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Strong throws an overhand right that lands on Goodson's shoulder, as Goodson tries to avoid the shot.

Strong throws a body kick that misses
and Goodson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Strong thinking.

Goodson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Strong is rocked!
Goodson steps in with a hook that catches Strong right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Goodson follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Strong looks absolutely devastated.
