Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Werner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Sullivan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hans Werner! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Werner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Werner throws out a powerful jab. Werner lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Werner moves in looking to clinch but Sullivan pushes him off. Werner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sullivan. Sullivan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Werner. Werner tries to clinch but Sullivan is having none of it. Werner tries to keep at a distance but Sullivan has taken the fight into the clinch. Werner trying to control the position but instead, Sullivan has worked for underhooks and has pushed Werner into the cage. A bit of stalling here from Werner.

Werner is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sullivan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Werner to the mat. Werner regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Werner should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Werner dodges the ground and pound from Sullivan. Sullivan fails to land a wild elbow strike.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. No luck for Sullivan with that takedown attempt. Werner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Werner wants to clinch and Sullivan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Werner keeping moving, preventing Sullivan from controlling successfully. Sullivan landing with the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sullivan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Werner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sullivan is controlling him. Werner looks gassed! Sullivan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sullivan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sullivan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sullivan is looking to work some ground and pound but Werner has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Werner keeping full guard, as Sullivan tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sullivan pushing down on Werner's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Sullivan trying to pass the guard but Werner defending well. Sullivan trying to control the action but Werner is working from the bottom. Werner tries to kick Sullivan off but Sullivan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Werner tries to clinch up and Sullivan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Werner's guard. Sullivan pushing down on Werner's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Sullivan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Werner is trying to stand.

Sullivan wants to take a breather but Werner is having none of it. Sullivan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sullivan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Werner is refusing to be controlled, as Sullivan sits in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sullivan shoots in and bounces Werner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Werner looking for a sweep. Not yet Werner, not yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Werner can do anything to dispel that myth. Werner keeping moving, preventing Sullivan from controlling successfully. Werner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sullivan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sullivan passes Werner's left leg - he's now in half guard. Sullivan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Werner doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sullivan.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Werner tries to clinch but Sullivan moves away and Sullivan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sullivan. Sullivan passes Werner's left leg - he's now in half guard. That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivan tries to control but Werner wriggling away. Scott Sullivan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sullivan jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Werner manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Werner is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sullivan is controlling him well. Sullivan wants to control but Werner is keeping him busy. Sullivan fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sullivan tries for a kimura but Werner is defending well. Sullivan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sullivan throws a strike aimed at the side of Werner's head but Werner avoids it well. Sullivan trying to control the position but Werner is working away. Werner parries the strikes from Sullivan easily there. Sullivan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Werner to escape.

And that's the end of the fight! Scott Sullivan showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sullivan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
