And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov shoots in for a takedown but Ganbat shows good takedown defense.
Petrov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ganbat.
Petrov misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Ganbat to counter with a crisp jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ganbat, as that shot connected.

Ganbat forces Petrov back against the cage and clinches.
Petrov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ganbat gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
We've been hearing reports that Ganbat has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Hakuho Ganbat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmitriy Petrov.

Ganbat has picked Petrov up - he's going for a ride! Ganbat dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Ganbat throwing shots but Petrov is blocking nicely.

Petrov has hold of Ganbat's hands but Ganbat slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Petrov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ganbat loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ganbat throws a big elbow that misses.

Ganbat postures up in Petrov's guard and throws a big left but Petrov blocks it.
Petrov looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Petrov lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Ganbat throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Petrov distracts Ganbat with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

It looks like Hakuho Ganbat has been cut.
Petrov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Petrov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hakuho Ganbat's cut is getting worse.
Petrov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ganbat is keeping the position for now.
Petrov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Petrov postures up and lands a big shot to Ganbat's brow.

Ganbat can't keep his opponent in guard - Petrov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ganbat is breathing heavily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Petrov lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Petrov passes to full mount!
Ganbat knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Petrov on the ground.
Petrov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ganbat's face.

Hakuho Ganbat's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hakuho Ganbat's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
