Shalit is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mondragon pulls his head out easily.
Shalit has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mondragon is working away from the top position though.

Shalit tries to roll over but Mondragon keeps him under control.

Mondragon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Mondragon is looking for submissions but instead, Shalit has regained full guard.
Mondragon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Shalit is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mondragon!

Shalit avoids the attempt from Mondragon to control.

Shalit has hold of Mondragon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mondragon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Shalit wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Shalit takes Mondragon's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Mondragon is in trouble.

I really don't envy Mondragon right now.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Shalit's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Shalit is looking to control Mondragon but Mondragon is wriggling around and keeping busy.
You can see the frustration on Mondragon's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Shalit has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Shalit is cranking Mondragon's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Mondragon! He's tightened the choke and Mondragon is tapping out!
