Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jose Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lopez clinches up against the cage.
Lopez is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bahs to keep the fight standing.
Lopez lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bahs backwards.

Bahs jumps into guard, dragging Lopez to the mat.
Bahs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lopez looking to sit in guard and control but Bahs gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bahs might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bahs is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bahs wants to control from the top but Lopez keeps moving.

Bahs stands and steps away. Lopez gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bahs decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Bahs darts in and clinches Lopez up against the cage.

Bahs manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Bahs gets control of Lopez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bahs will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Lopez has one foot on Bahs's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bahs takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Bahs is working for an americana but Lopez has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Bahs was thinking about the submission.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Lopez closes the distance and pushes Bahs back into the cage.
Lopez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bahs has had enough of the clinch but Lopez keeps him there for the moment.

Bahs quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Lopez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
