The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cider shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cider gets slowly back to his feet.

Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jones fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Cider tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away.

Cider is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Cider is forced to tap! Great finish!
