The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Stoppelbein tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but De Rossi defends well and Stoppelbein ends up having to push De Rossi into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch. De Rossi stuffs the takedown. De Rossi tries to counter by clinching up but Stoppelbein breaks away and moves out of range. Stoppelbein shoots and misses and De Rossi counters with a shoot takedown. We've been hearing good reports from De Rossi's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills.
