Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chance Ogrady!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tukya Downe!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downe looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Downe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Downe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ogrady does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Downe throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ogrady to regain full guard.
Downe is in close to Ogrady's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Ogrady looking for a sweep. Not yet Ogrady, not yet.
Downe drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Downe jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Downe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Downe is trying for a kimura here. Ogrady looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Downe wins by kimura!

After the fight, Tukya Downe was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
