Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Benjy Button (ranked 1962 p4p, 1853 weight class) and Bum Phillips (ranked 259 p4p, 251 weight class). Benjy Button could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bum Phillips's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjy Button! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bum Phillips! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phillips shoots in looking for a takedown. Button tries to sprawl out of it but Phillips keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Button manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Phillips gets caught napping as Button dives in and scores a takedown. Phillips manages to retain guard. Phillips looking to hit a scissor sweep but Button is one step ahead there. Our spies down at at MMA Training and Sparring Buddies inform us that Phillips has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Button trying to control the position from guard on top but Phillips is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phillips wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phillips is looking for a triangle but Button pushes his legs off easily.
Button throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Phillips works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Phillips looking to hit a scissor sweep but Button is one step ahead there. Phillips is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Phillips wants to lay and pray for a moment but Button keeps working. Phillips is trying to work for a kimura but Button is defending well.
Button is trying to stand up here but Phillips is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Phillips is looking for a kimura but Button is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Phillips to get the leverage. Phillips wants to lay and pray for a moment but Button keeps working. Button wants to get back to his feet.
Phillips wants to control but Button is keeping him busy. Button looks like he's trying to stand up.
Phillips is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Phillips trying to control the action but Button is working from the bottom. Phillips is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Button wants to get back to his feet.
Phillips has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Button defend it? Phillips steps over the head and cranks it - Button is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Phillips!
